One of the premier railroad museums in North America, with more than 100 locomotives and cars — including a world-class collection of Pennsylvania Railroad equipment — displayed in a vast rolling stock hall directly across from the Strasburg Rail Road.

Official railroad museum of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; preserves the historic collection of the Pennsylvania Railroad.

The PRR called itself the Standard Railroad of the World, and this is where its surviving fleet lives. Cross the street and you can ride steam afterward.
