Scenic rail excursion — Jim Thorpe
Narrated round-trip rides in vintage coaches run from Jim Thorpe along the Lehigh River, through Glen Onoko, and into Lehigh Gorge State Park. Trains are diesel-powered unless otherwise specified. Schedules vary seasonally — review the official schedule before travel; parking is controlled separately by Carbon County.

History
The Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway began in 2005. Its Jim Thorpe boarding point is the former Central Railroad of New Jersey station, built in 1888.
